who I treat
- High Stress-load Professionals (weight of the world on shoulders icon)
- Restaurant industry (martini icon)
- Cardio-sports fanatics (legs running icon)
You will feel comfortable and confident in my care because I have years of experience in treating your problems, AND personal experience & connection with each of these injury-causing situations.
- High-Stress Professionals- Welcome to the world of deadline headaches, demanding boss-influenced shoulder tension, self-employed neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and sciatica. It’s incredibly common to experience tension and/or pain from an increased work & stress load. Unfortunately, it is also common for you to have difficulty scheduling time for treatment. To help your situation, we offer atypical appointment times, online scheduling and hybrid therapies to heal you more efficiently and with less hassle. As a bonus, my spa location gives you the benefits of taking a small guilt-free (and much-needed) relaxation break while you get treatment (yay double-dipping!).
- Industry-”Tray shoulder”, “muddling forearm”, plate-carrying carpal tunnel syndrome, aching feet and low back pain are some of the most common complaints and “affectionately” named injuries I have treated and helped industry patients to control. You don’t have a lot of control over the ergonomics of how your restaurant/bar is set up but you can control the amount of damage that builds in your body and get a few postural & exercise suggestions from me to lessen the strain you feel.
- Cardio-Sports-A term I use for sports that have a relatively heavy cardio emphasis include (but are not limited to): running, dance, soccer, and tennis. The running component to these sports creates typical patterns of injury. My experience with treating (and personally experiencing) these injuries makes me very competent in helping you with tendinitis, sprains & strains (2 separate but joined injuries), runners knee, IT-Band Syndrome, and chronic compensation pattern injuries to the gluts, piriformis and sciatic nerve.
