what I treat

They say to write well, you must write what you know. Therefore to treat your injuries exceptionally well I like to treat what I know. And what I know is that your injuries should be addressed according to their specific type (and only then can we create a unique and effective therapy for you). Injury types can usually be categorized into one of the following:

  • Repetitive Stress Injuries-Happen slowly over time from a continued pattern of wear.
    • shoulder pain
    • neck pain
    • low back pain
    • knee pain
    • carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Acute/Traumatic Injuries-Come from a direct injury that you can usually recall.
    • sprains
    • strains
  • Stress-induced pains-May come on suddenly or over a short amount of time and are difficult to pinpoint a direct cause. (Stress in this case is the combined effect of physical, chemical & emotional stress).
    • headaches
    • “pinched nerves”
    • neck tension pain and/or twinges
    • low back tension
